Pre Professional Training
Pre-Professional Training at the Ballet Clinic includes high-intensity hours of training, physical therapy, and career guidance. We believe less is more. We don't go off of age or levels, but the projected year you will graduate and move onto a professional company or school.
Please note, if you are above the age of 16, The Ballet Clinic is not right for you. If you are behind in your technique, please schedule a consultation. Full-time placement in the pre-professional division will only happen by acceptance only. Acceptance into the pre-professional division graduating class is less than 10%.
Group 1 (2019) saw four graduates all place on scholarships or professional companies in ballet and contemporary. They placed at the Royal Ballet Upper School, ABT's JKO, San Francisco Ballet School, Arts Umberella (Canada), Texas Ballet Theatre, Nashville Ballet and Kansas City Ballet.
Group 2 (2020) will be the first full-time group The Ballet Clinic will have. With a short time before graduation, Group 2 dancers 15-20 intense and focused hours a week. In this group, dancers are aged between 13-15 and only accommodates 12 dancers. Dancers must be homeschool to meet the hourly requirement and cross training requirement.
Group 3 (2021, 2022, 2023), is for dancers ages 10-12 who are focused on becoming professional dancers. The expected graduation age is 15 or 16. Dancers in this group train between 10-12 hours a week.
Group 4 (2023, 2024), is for dancers age 8-10 who are naturally inclined and gifted in dance. The expected graduation age is 15 or 16. Dancers in this group dance 3-5 hours a week.
