Setting the Stage for Next Year
Your gift to The Ballet Clinic makes a difference For the last year four years, Clinic has had supplemental support from my god mother’s passing and her inheritance gifted to me. This has helped young dancers of color come to The Ballet Clinic. As we prepare to audition new talent for next season we have already dispersed our scholarship fund to help offset the cost of tuition for returning dancers. A Ballet Education Foundation has been able to collect donations since 2021 under our non-profit tax ID, and a project turned organization originally headed by Eric. Since founding The Ballet Clinic, our school has become one of the top schools in the United States, and has been recognized by State of Arizona public officials, the Youth America Grand Prix, and many more. The Ballet Clinic has provided excellent training for students who now attend some of the most prestigious schools in the world and dance professionally. Students of The Ballet Clinic have gone on to dance professionally with: The San Francisco Ballet, Kansas City Ballet, Oklahoma City Ballet, Sarasota Ballet, Ballet Arizona, and Texas Ballet Theatre. Our students have gone on to professional schools year-round, many on scholarship, and have attended: The Royal Ballet School, The School of American Ballet, American Ballet Theatre’s JKO, San Francisco Ballet School, Alberta Ballet, Houston Ballet Academy, Ballet Met, Ballet West, NYU, Indiana University, and more. Additionally our students place high at competitions, and are accepted and attend the best summer intensives in the world: The Paris Opera Ballet School, John Crank School, The Royal Ballet School, English National Ballet, SAB, ABT, Houston Ballet Academy, Miami City Ballet School, San Francisco Ballet School, and many others. We are currently looking to raise close to $60,000 to help cover dancer’s tuition, a new floor for The Ballet Clinic, and our upcoming production for the 2024-2025 season. In Arizona, the maximum allowable tax credit for contributions to qualified charitable organizations for tax deductions for single taxpayers is $421, while joint households the maximum credit is $1,051.
